3000 RPM Power Hickup of line
My 88 AE is running really strong after a rebuild. It has about 1000 miles on the rebuild and has been pretty strong. Now I have a slight issue where when I accelerate really hard off the line it and hits around 3000 rpms it looses all power for a split second and then the power kicks in and from that point on it is fine. It happens at random times but always off the line. I could start 10 times and it will be fine and then randomly it will happen again and then be fine for a while again.
It has a new fuel pump and filter but it feels like the fuel just dies to it and then flows normally after that.
Any ideas on what I can check? It starts up every time and idles great.
Thanks!

That is probably the problem. I found this write up:
