3 questions not related to each other
1.) What is the thread size and pitch of the throttle stop screw?
2.) If the boost sensor (88 turbo) is reading boost at idle would the timing be advanced or retarted?
3.) Are the s4 and s5 boost sensors interchangeable?
Answers to any or all would be appreciated. Just got my t2 motor in the fb and got acouple little bugs to work out.
thanks,

yes
EDIT: The series four and five boost sensors are not interchangable. They have different voltage outputs to the ECU at a given pressure/vacuum.
I've never been able to boost my cars in the driveway. I've no idea if the timing would retard or advance. I guess a person could put a MittyVac or equiv to the sensor and watch using a timing light. That's an unusual question from my standpoint.
I will let you know that if your idling the car, and the rpms are over 1100 rpm, the ECU will all by itself advance the timing with no input from you.
Also during START the timing is advanced to L plus five and T plus five. Well, both will be five degrees before TDC duing START. Also if the A/C is on the timing will be advanced to some oddball figure and if the pwer steering is turned the timing will be advanced to some oddball figure.
If it's a matter of life and death, I might put a mittyvac on my pressure sensor at idle and see if the timing goes north or south.

1. you can't get the screw or the nut anywhere but a dealer or parts TB. don't even try. the pitch is insanely small and the normal M5 nuts you get don't thread on smoothly. Even the specialty stores don't have it.
