3 motor mount questions before install

I just got a new 88 Turbo and plan to install new motor mounts. Old ones are shot. I did my 90' about five years ago and I can't recall what I did. I remember one side was a PITA. My questions:

1) One side is a pain from what I remenber. I cant remember which, but is there a trick?
2) I think I jacked the motor up at the trans-engine mate area. Right?
3) Cant remember if I had to loosen the transmission mount before jacking the engine up. I dont think I did but just cant remember?

No real trick. Just remove the top and bottom bolt, lift the engine slightly, and it will slip off the mount. Place your jack on the transmission just behind the oil pan. You don't need to loosen the transmission mount.

Thanks. Can I ak one more? Is it easier to remove the bracket attached to the oil pan (the one with 3 bolts) and remove the mount with bracket attached?

I found out what the problem was. My jack and block of wood was not high enough to lift the engine enough. Had to remove the 3-bolt motor mount braket on the right side. Also, the alignment tabs in the mounts need to rest in the bracket slots. Thought I'd post in case anyone is thinking of doing mounts soon.
