3 inch CNC intake adapter

I am thinking of building a 3 inch adapter for 2nd gen intake manifolds. I am thinking of having a CNC program made so that I can produce a small quantity of them. The adapter will be constructed from aluminum and will allow 3 inch pipe to be connected to the throttle body. This will allow full replacement of the plastic 'snorkle' intake with smooth mandrel bends. If I produce these is anyone interested in buying one or two? The price would be approx. $100. Thanks.

I am talking about a flange attachment that bolts to the throttlebody so that a smooth round intake tube can be used between the TB and the MAF. I think HKS only makes a flange so that you can attach an air filter to the MAF at the opposite end?

I would like one, I thought that HKS does make one for use with their top mount intercooler. I could be very wrong though. I am about to do a custom front mount intercooler project and want to have better flow to the TB. I wouldnt want 3", 2.5" would be ideal for my application.

Well it is a top mount, so you arent really gaining much.
You still have the heat soak, but dont add the boost lag.
Yes, please make one for 2.5", I will buy within the next month or two.

NA or T2?
I want one. Especially if it looks like the one that the Nelson supercharger kit used. Actually, it needs to be longer than the Nelson one and have the "curved pipe" connected too. OK, maybe just a little longer than the Nelson one, but definitely shorter and smoother than the Kurgan one.
I was waiting for an intake or adapter worth buying, but they all connect to the Mazda hose. I was hoping for something that looks like the attached pic and then try to connect it to the NA intake with...............

Which one fits the '91 NA and HKS p#?

None of those fit. They are all for air flow meters. This is for the throttle body
The HKS piece I mentioned was from an intercooler kit (for the intercooler to flow better through to the throttle body).
We are talking about the Turbo throttle body. It would be used for custom intercooler piping. An N/A would gain nothing from this.

I am working on the CAD design now and when I am done I will have a first test part CNC machined for mock testing. I am designing it to outlet from the triangular throttle body to a three inch flange. If you wish to reduce to 2.5 inch you may use an expanded tube or sinply use a silicone reducer. It should be good for full intake replacement on the NAs and a nice custom intercooler pipe install on the Turbos. Thank you for your support - I was not going to go through with the project unless I had a few buyers because to run the CNC machine can be expensive. I will keep you updated.
I have a similar one I made from the TB end of a old DC intake for a 92-95 civic. I had the last 3.5" of it tig welded to the TB inlet flange, then tapped a hole for the temp sensor, and my fogger. Works great with my FMIC setup. So you know it needs to be angled about 20 degrees towards the firewall to avoid hitting the oil filler neck.
