2ndGeneration pioneer CD Player Mod

Installing new cd player in the glove compartment to keep dash stock ..
Anyone ever remove the Radio,Tape, Equalizer Unit to Tap into the 3 & 4 prong harnesses that plug into back of that stock unit , Any problems ?

Sorry :most information in the audio section relates to newer FD ' s and couldn't find much under the search ....

As far as I'm concerned that's the only way to do it. You terminate the bare wires on the head unit's harness with male spade terminals and plug them straight into the factory plugs. Easy.
