hey all, i was wondering is if the rear ends in the 86-88 GXLs with auto transmissions, (the 3.90 gear), were limited slip like the 4.10 gears in the manual transmission cars. ive searched and found nothing conclusive, so i was hoping someone that had actually seen one would be able to tell me.

Yes, all S4 GXL rear ends were LSD, reguardless of gearing.
