when you hit either of the buttons, it just makes a cranking sound...it will open sometimes, but you'll have to hold the button to bring it back in and manually help it out with your hand

The triangle dash vents don't come much cheaper than they are new really. Check out www.mazdaformance.com

The p/w switch, make a post in the wanted/for sale section here.

The sunroof, try cleaning out the tracks and using some WD40 in there and see if it helps. I use a can of that compressed air that is for cleaning your keyboard.

Dont use wd-40. Use graphite to lube up the tracks. WD-40 will attract nothing but dirt and in 2 weeks youll be cleaning it again. The switches are part of the same circuit. If one doesnt work then the other doesnt either.

just been messing with the sunroof, walmart wanted $5 for a can of cleaned air...i was like screw it, i work at radio shack, ill just get some with employee discount pretty cheap...but i did notice the sunroof goes out perfectly fine, its coming back in where the trouble is...im gonna try to clean it tommorrow....also where the power window on the drivers side connects, it has a plastic connect thing sort of like on a car stereo "wiring harness", but there's an extra plastic thing there with a blue and black wire running into it...but no where to hook it....any idea what it may be?

i found a place today that had a few 2nd gen's, lady said the interiors were in decent shape, im gonna go take what i need, ill post whatever else i find if theres something someone may need.

Call Ralph Hatley at Almaden Mazda. Cheapest parts around. Much better than Mazdatrix or a local dealer.
