HELP .. ANY FC - 2ND GENERATION MOTORHEADS
I WANT TO PUT SOME ADR 17" X 7" WHEELS WITH A : 45 OFFSET, AND SOME FREE 17" X 215 X : 50 TIRES , ON MY 1990 RX7 GXL COUPE .. ANY RUB OR WIDTH HEIGHT FITMENT PROBLEMS ? OR IS THIS SETUP A GO ..
ONLY DRIVE THIS SLEEPER ON THE WEEKENDS ECT ..

Well, as the rim width is the same as a stock 16" wheel, the wheel will be 5mm (.20") closer to the strut. But as your going to use a 215-50x17 (-.8" Dunlop and only a -.3" Pirelli, section width less than a 225-50x16). I'd say it could work. Mighty close depending on the make of the tire. The worst case, a minimal spacer may be needed on the front.

 

TO TURN OFF THE CAPS LOCK BUTTON, YOU HIT THE KEY LABELED "CAPS LOCK" ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF YOUR KEYBOARD, LIKE SO. See, it works wonders .
