2nd gen flywheel problem

I have been working on putting a new clutch set in my 88 GXL for the last two weeks. I finally knocked the flywheel off and got it turned. The problem i'm running into is the threads on the eccentric shaft and the flywheel nut are not matched. I think the nut is FUBAR. Does anyone know of a tap and die set that size or any other methods to get the flywheel back on?

Pray for the nut.....

The only thing I am aware of that size is for pipe fitters, oil field type work. You might try a plumber and see if they have something that size....

Good luck.
