I have set the idle at 2k on my 86 na, because if i try to make it less it will just bounce. I have searched and tried the tps, idle speed and everthing there is to set it right. But this is the lowest i can set it to, also the engine is missing at idle.
I don't have any temp issues, and know I want to fix it- it got anoying and don't want to kill the engine.

 

Have you done a tune up recently. Also check for vac leaks.
