The axel came out right? Indicating that the bolts and the coter pin came off or was never on! I read 2 storys out of this. A tire blew and spun him into a curb. And the wheel came off and spun into a curb.

What one is it?

Just to clarify things. We believe that the front tire on the passenger side blew out, causing the loss of control(possible sand on the ground as well). After doing a penny test(to check tread), my tires were illegal. After the loss of control, the vehicle spun out and hit a curb causing impact to the rear end of the passenger side.

My friend who is a mechanic is out of town at the moment and will return this thursday to inspect.

The 1990 RX7 was sold to you for $2750 plus tax and license AS
IS! We are not responsible for your flat tire. However, it is good
to hear that you or nobody else was injured. Good luck with the car and
in the future if you want to buy a car that has a warranty I will be
glad to help you here at Kline Nissan. Thanks for your business and have
a great day! Randy Wimer (612) 490-5212 "

So much for that...

Well at least they replied not suprised to see them brush away any expense, would have been nice to get some help due to the minor miledge after the purchase.

for about $50 bucks you should be able to get a consultation from a lawyer. id say its worth it. i hate dealerships, theyre nothing but crooks. they sold you a used car "as is", but saftey is whole other aspect and car should have been inspected and brought up to par before sold. i would take it personally, by shoving that car of the lot, they got youre money and the hell with your health.

So if the tires are beyond the penny test and illegal they should have warned you when you bought the car as is. They are not allowed to sell the car with parts that need to be crucially changed so you are not to harm others on the road. How long was this after you had bought the car. If you only had it for a couple weeks you can go back and say my car is an as is car but you sold me something defective or some problems that could have had me killed.

I'm anxious to get her running again. Today I will be checking out various shops for price quotes. Do you guys recommend any? I was thinking about BZ3 or RS Motor Sports.

I've also e-mailed the Lemon Law about my issue.

Couple of things... you won't qualify for "lemon law"

That applies to having to fix the same issue multiple times, first time here so no luck.

You have some chance of making headway with the dealer, but more or less they do sell back lot cars as-is, if you read the fine print you signed they pretty much hold you responsible to checking running condition of the car.

As much as I agree it sucks it's just how the world works.
