205 on stock 14" 4 bolts?

A question for all the phone dialers out there (or whatever 14" 4 bolt wheels that were made for the NA's). What's the biggest tire width you've put on your wheels? I've heard you can get 205's on to them, has anybody done that before?

I've seen 215's on them before.

Don't suggest it though, they get too "squishy" and you'll actually loose traction.

the best size is 195/65/R14 really.

if you want grip in corners the best way to go would be to stick your tires on the widest rims you can. putting really wide tires on narrow rims will make the car unstable in corners. look at old Formula 1 cars, ie: before they regulated the tires.

Very close to stock O.D. so the speedo is very close to perfect.
