2002 Protege Rims on FC?

Has anyone tried putting protege rims on there second gen?

I got some 2002 16's from a friend but the wobble like no tomorrow. Wondering if there is a fix for this.

Bolt pattern's the same, just find out the offset and that'll answer your question.

..uh...is "the" one rim or all of them?...and it it is a steal rim then you can mend the bend but not an an alloy rim....there could be stress cracks that you might not see..stay away it THEY are bend

Isnt the back spacing totally opposite of a rwd.A buddy of mine tried to put sho wheels on his Vic and they wouldnt work due to the spacing of the rim.

sorry man..did not mean to come across as a dick..was just funny...thats all...if a rim fits it fits! as long as the rim can handle the LOAD (just like tires have a load max) and they fit-off set and so on-then there is no FWD or RWD rim out there..please show me a site so I can see what they mean...you must have gotten that from somewhere plus I am willing to say SORRY if I was wrong

i sold him the wheels as rollers , i use them on my rx7's here at the shop( just to move them around) the offset is way wrong and the sit way in, the wheels came off my 02 protege5 with 10,000 miles on them and they worked great, i think your problem lies elswhere

wow ..that is some crazy ****..
BUT if you look at the site again
then you will notice that ALL FWD
rims are for CARS and all RWD rims
are for trucks...I think this site
used FWD and RWD as some
stupid way to differentiate
between car and truck rims..
.i could see how you could confuse
that with some rims BEING ONLY for
FWD or RWD...

look here... http://www.carxpressions.com/wheels/spin_weel.htm

there is a Benz with spinners and
right above it there is a explanation
and it ALSO says for Front Wheel Drive
vehicles...but the mercedes in the pic has
spinners and is NOT a FWD car....
i will call my rim shop and ask them what
this could mean....love a good mystery!!!
and thanks for looking that up!

guys guys guys

we are eating a bunch of band width arguing stupid stuff.

its all offset, period!

if all of this non-sense is true what do you do with AWD and 4WD wheels??? Do you change the front wheels when you engage the 4wd? NO! the wheel size and offset must be correct for the vehicle to work OR you eat wheel bearings. thats it.

The rims on the benz are photoshopped, fyi

So they may not actually fit that mercedes, it's just a nice picture to have. Most all the time on sites and adds for wheels any big rim on any suv, truck, luxury car, what have you, they will be photoshopped. That's why in adds SUV's can run 24's on zero sidewall tires while being slammed to all hell, etc.
