2000RPM bog

I have been battling this problem for a few weeks now. on a cold start my car is fine. but on a hot start to wont rev past 2000, sounds like i have a rev limiter.
i have done a full tune up, cledaned my throttle body and intake manny, in process of checking for vaccum leaks. i have heard from other people that it could be my TPS sensor and maybe even fuel injectors. any help is greatly appreciated

1. Check for trouble codes.
2. Check for closed loop operation (green lamp test, search this forum)
3. Set idle, idle mixture, and TPS per the FSM procedure.
4. Check timing and advance per FSM
5. Check water thermo sensor per FSM
6. Check operation of the double throttle diaphram per FSM

check your fuel pressure. that culd help point you in the right direction. a clogged fuel filter can cause boging symptoms and will not allow you to rev past a certain rpm. the FC is also sensitive to clean grounding points. clean all of them in the engine bay to include the negative cable mounting points, the ground on the firewall behind and to the right of the dynamic chamber, remove and clean the grounding block on the left strut tower. it'll have a six pin connector (i believe) that you'l need to remove and its secured to the strut twoer via one 10mm bolt. i may be missing a coupld and AaronCake has a writeup on it.

there is a writeup on checking the tps. a search will quickly find that for you. you will also need to make a test light. i have made one and can post pics for reference if you'd like.

i have replaced my fuel filter and cleaned my gas tank recently, today actually on the way home from work, again it starts fine on cold starts as i was comming home (30 min drive) i stopped at a driv through and got food and as i took off the bogging symptoms came into effect. it would not let me rev past 2000rpm. mind you the car was not turned off this whole time. this problem will get harder to deal with as summer rolls in, hot car = boggggggg :[
