How many 13bs actually fail due to the oiling system. I thought that about 95% of engine faliures were from other things....OVERBOOSTING and LEANING OUT. Im just curious as to the common faliures.

 

I've since went with the above. With an Idle of 1200 RPMs I have 40psi. I've lowered at one point (to simulate stock settings) and has shown 20psi Oil Pressure. So, I say this mod was worth to take advantage of It awhile my Engine was apart.

If It's such a concern that one will have low Oil Pressure at Idle - than bump the Idle to 1000 rpms, for example.
