I have these 2 whining sounds in my car.

#1 When the clutch is out, it whines and when I push it in, it stops. I think it may be the pilot bearing.

#2 The car has this whining when the car is in 1st-3rd gear. It stops for the most part in 4th and 5th. Due to this, I think it may be something with how the gears are seperated. But I don't know.

What are these sounds?

 

the first may not be your pilot berring but is most likely your throw out berring. the second may be lash in your tranny or a tranny berring asking for attention when was the last time you got down and checked your tranny fluid? try that and see if it helps. as for the throw out berring best you can do is get a replacement or wait till you get a new clutch and but the kit. i recomend ACT they are awsome clutches.
