2 stroke (premix) oil... short and quick

Short and quick question.

Penzoil 2 cycle oil for "air cooled engines"

Says on the back and I quote "use penzoil for applications calling for NMMA TC-W, TC-WII, TC-W3

I was kinda pissed it didnt have the "certification" on the label... as I just got it delivered to work (from advance auto).

My question... I know this probably isn't the best stuff out there, but FOR THE MOMENT, will it work.

MOP is completely disabled... S5. Have the pump on the front cover still, but the 4 banjo bolts are "bolted up" and sealed, as well as the LIM and block holes for the injectors.

It'll be fine, man, quit freakin'

I've been using the cheap-*** Wal-mart TCW-3 stuff for over two years now with no problems...

any two stroke meeting TCW3 standards is fine for an emissions equipped vehicle.

Hmm.... well, all my emissions items will be removed in about 2 weeks here... still be ok? Or do you mean its safe for cat converters, etc etc?

Anywho... The gauge for my tank read 1/4... so "just to be safe" I poured one entire 8oz bottle in, and put an additional gallon to help mix it a bit. (only had a gallon at work). Tried cranking today, and it will run to 3K, then cut off. I can keep it running by pushing the throttle down atleast 25 percent. The only error codes I get from the ECU are the norms... TPS, AWS, emissions solenoids (but no vac leaks).

Only thing i can think is that the ACV is not connected to the airpump. The airpump is just pumping to "atmosphere" as the tube does not fit correctly, and ended up crinking it self cracking. But IIRC... there's no source of engine vacuum in the ACV except for the switching and relief valves... but all those hoses are on correctly. I don't get a AFM error from the ECU... but the AFC shows 0 percent throttle the entire time. Haven't checked voltages at the ECU for the proper AFM reading... was too late and had to go home. I'll check that in the morning. Anything you might be able to suggest Icemark? On a searching quest ATM... but typing this at the same time

Yes, a TCW3 burns enough not to leave deposits or cause problems in an emissions controlled vehicle. It will be fine for a vehicle you gutted the emssions systems

year? model??? sounds like it is in limp mode from you disabling the MOP
