2 Stroke Oil - How do you store it?

Was kinda wondering how everyone else stores their 2 stroke oil if you removed your OMP. Because over here when it gets kinda hot my car ends up stinking like it. Which sucks lol. So how do you guys do it?

well... i do have a plastic bag... I guess I need to be a little neater when I pour the oil into the container... Heres the setup i have....

1 large container of 2 stroke oil
1 small container to measure amount of oil
1 medium sized funnel

1) I pour the oil from large container to small one using funnel, then dump the oil from the small container to the gas tank... but theres still oil in the funnel and thats still in the bag.

So I dunno what to do... maybe just carry the small container around and leave the large one at home?

I just leave it in the bottle. I don't mind all the smell in the car.

Clear plastic bottle with twist top marked at the 12oz mark (I usually fill up around 10-12 gallons) in a large ziplock bag. No smell, no problems. Keep it in my glove compartment.

Ok. Thanks. So it's a aftermarket mod. Had me $hitting my pants for a minute there. I've had my share of Yamaha RD350's & loved every one of them. But they are 2 - strokes with oil injection systems designed for 2 - stroke engines. On my race bike I blocked off the oil pump & mixed my oil in with the gas in a separate container prior to fillin' the tank.
Why 2 - stroke oil if the engine is already injected with engine oil??? What's the benefit???
Thanks, Gary

after measurement
i throught we have to put some gas in 2 cycle oil and premixing b 4 we dump in to the gas tank.
or maybe i am just waiting time to do premixing instead of dum all in the gas tank.
?????

pour it into 16oz bottles in the garage, keep a few in the storage bin. wipe off any spill on the bottles and throw them back in the bin to be filled again. no smell, i promise.

I have a 32 oz. bottle I keep in a great Ziploc bag. I meaure the amount I add by the transparent line on the side of the bottle. I also have a small funnel that I stole from my 10 gallon gascan, I double bag that puppy just to make sure there is no leakage. Keep both in my storage bin and so far all is great, no odor and no spillage!

I've seen a couple threads on the topic, the 2 stroke oil burns cleaner than the conventional injected oil, keeping things neat inside your 13b, and since your fuel injectors are supplying the oil instead, an OMP failure will no longer be an issue. Do a search on "pre-mix" you will definitely find a topic or two on it. (Actually, I just noticed, there is a cool feature at the bottom of the page "similar threads", check that out!)

I keep a big Nalgene full of it and a 16oz fuel injector cleaner bottle. When I go to fill up, I dump the 16oz bottle in first, refuel, then refill the 16oz bottle from the Nalgene. I thought about using a Windex bottle (since the 2-cycle oil is blue) just to get some funny looks but it's not quite practical.
