2 rear housings 13b t2

can u use 2 rear housings? or is there a repercussion for doing so?

the only difference is the air injection passage. its only drilled on one side, facing the center iron.

if you do not need to pass smog, its not a problem. if you do need to pass smog, you can drill the R housing and make it do F and R, like every 81-85 housing.

actually since you're in CA you should just drill the hole, as someone might need to smog it later. it REALLY sucks when you need to rebuild the engine just to smog the car, i've seen it a few times.

except it requires removing the sleeve, which some people have difficulty with.

no you just have to be careful not to drill through the sleeve

I don't plan on making it able to pass smog,
everything was already gone when I bought it
including a catless exhaust go figure.

is there anything else I should be aware of?
or is that only if smog is an issue if not looks like im gonna have 2 rears =p

housings are identical except for this one drilling and the F or R stamp.
