1)my gear box makes a odd grinding noise when i switch gears sometimes, most commonly with 1st 5th and R. its like it doesnt want to accept the gear change i have to keep trying till it goes in all the way. what could that be?

2)cruise controle doesnt work when i activate it it simply increses speed and pulls the pedel out from under my foot. any ideas?

im open to suggestions, thanks in advance

Turbo??? Non Turbo??? model???

#1 probably worn gear box, when did you last change the gear oil??? try using Redline MT90 or Redline Superlightweight gear oil.

#2 Turbo?? Non Turbo??? Non turbo, probably you have a vac leak or busted switch... Turbo you probably have a bad switch, or bad actuator, or misadjusted actuator.
