2.5" vs 3" exhaust

2.5" vs 3" exhaust
I've got a 2.5" single exhaust(straight no cats) and a RB downpipe set up on the car now...should I upgrade to a 3" exhaust set up? Also have FCD if that matters(might run too much boost..she sees 12 psi tops now with no fuel upgrades)
