2.5" strait throttlebody inlet

This inlet adapter replaces the stock one and redirects airflow straight out of the throttle body. GREAT for front mounting an intercooler. Increased in diameter for greater air flow 2.5" in diameter and is offset to make easy access around the oil filler. This is totaly machined from billet aluminum not casted like stock. Now that you've gotten it machined you should have that thing investment cast and turn them out for $10 in recycled aluminum cans vs $30 for the chunk of aluminum stock + machining.

Don't get me wrong... thats a damn nice looking piece, but its not cost effective.

I am not sure how well the straight out connector would work, its pretty tight in front of the adapter, its either against the oil filter or the filler neck, I have seen it done before though, just not sure how well it fits with Powersteering....
I welded a 2.5" elbow from turbonetics on the intake adapter and ported it to a smooth path.
Morbius also made an adapter to rotate his so the intake points forward which is pretty neat..
Getting the inlet from 2" to 2.5" makes a pretty noticeable difference in power and spool time with a big turbo...Max

Would be perfect for my car to replace the restrictive "strawberry"....but for $280 (US!....that's 370 CAN!) I'll make my own...
