2.5" DP... Will I lean out?

I am replacing the engine in my 88 TII. The only mods art 8.5mm wires (I guess they don't matter in this case) and a 2.5" downpipe. Has anyone run this setup before and had it run reliably for a long time? What sort of boost increase will I see? Should I worry about hitting fuel cut? Should I consider larger injectors, fuel pumps, pressure regulators, fuel map reprogramming? Which of these components are safe to leave stock? Any help will be greatly appreciated, I have spent far too long turning wrenches and not driving. Thanks.

what about the main cat? Are you running 2.5" downpipe and the main cat or are you running 2.5" downpipe with a presilencer/straight pipe combo? If you have no cats then the right way to go in my opinion is reprogramed ECU or some kind of fuel management and upgrade fuel pump.

I have about the same Q. I will be putting on RB turbo back exhaust, bonez intake. Would a RP fuel pump, Apexi fuel controller, 720 secondaries, and if need be a boos controller? Also what is the safest PSI I can run with this set up? Any help you can give would be great. Oh yeah I have a 91' TII.

If your gonna get the turbo back and intake, get the fuel pump, injectors, and S-AFC. You don't need the boost controller (it won't keep boost down, it can only raise boost). Get some guages too.

Safe boost on the stock turbo, people will say around 10-12psi.

EDIT:

What color is your TII? Now I know of 3 91 TIIs in VA .

I just got my TII also, and am currently running apex gt exhaust, rp fcd, and rp fuel pump. My dp and mp are in the mail right now. Once I put both of them on, will I e risking too much with just an upgraded pump?
