2 and 1/2 inch downpipe ?

my question is about boost creep. i own an 88t2 with an SSAUTOCHROME 3" turbo back and it so damn loud and i have wicked boost creep and i get fuel cut at like 5k rpm it sucks. so if i get a smaller downpipe will i still get boost creep. i am also running a stock TID. thanks for all info guys.

Have you ported your wastegate yet? That should take car of the boost creep. Also, you should have a FCD to take care of the fuel cut and preferably a larger pump.

I believe it's rx7.com that sells a 2.5" downpipe. But that won't fix the problem at all.

Because it's still bigger than stock and has not cat in it. If you want to get rid of your boost creep port your wastegate or throw the stock crap back on.

well i have an rtek 1.5, last weekend i had someone install it for me and when i put it in it made my fuel pump go all wacky and turn off and on really fast and then die so he let me use a spare t2 ecu for the moment while he checks all the solder points and goes everything one last time before we try to put the ecu back in. but i am really sick of my LOUD exhaust the 2.5 inch pipe will make it a bit quieter right? btw, thanks for the replys everyone.
