2,000 RPM Cold Start Idle

Sup guys I'm stumped haha,

1.) Anyways when I start my car cold and it does the normal 3k accel. warm-up, after that happens the idle will stick at 2k and will gradually work it's way down to a normal 750 RPM idle when fully warmed up.

2.) On the other hand, if I bypass the accel. warm-up process (start the car in gear with the clutch in) it will stay at a normal RPM of 1,500 until I press the gas pedal at which point it will go back up to 2k and work it's way down to a normal 750 RPM idle when fully warmed up.

3.) Another abnormal thing that happens is when I start my car cold and it does the normal 3k accel. warm-up, after that happens the engine's RPM should go to a certain idle, but it actually keeps falling until the motor stalls. If I start the car back up it doesn't stall.

I have adjusted my TPS by way of voltage levels and resistance levels, but my idle air screw seems to be bottomed out. I have also checked to make sure the BAC valve is in proper working order by applying current and checking the resistance.

The motor seems to run perfectly when fully warmed up but these cold start problems are very annoying.

Any ideas on what would be causing my motor to act this way during cold start conditions?

Maybe a sticky throttle cable? What do you guys think?

Did you adjust the screw (AAS) with the initial set plug jumped? I don't think you should have to bottom out the AAS. I'm thinking maybe something's sticking, like some throttle plates, the throttle cable, or dashpot. You could probably take off the air funnel and that 90-degree bend TB inlet to get a look at the throttle plates, and then play around with opening and closing the plates to get an idea of what's going on. If things look ok, I'd recalibrate your TPS and idle speeds here:

and here:

And make sure the coolant passages to the water thermo valve are clear.

Ya i jumpered the initial set coupler, but when exactly do you do that?

When the car is running or when you are about to start it up?
