who is the bigger *******.. the one that makes **** up and posts it, or the people that call him on it???

I have no problems with someone calling me an *******, but I (and every single member here) should have problems with bogus info posted as fact.

Here is the Java link for Mazda's own production history of the RX-7:
http://www.mazda.co.jp/history/rx7/J...chr_index.html

Note how the FC coupe production ends in 8/91 and the FD production starts in 12/91 (as a 92 model), while the convertible production continues to 8/92 (also as a 92 model).

But remember as Ted mentioned, there were no official 92 RX-7 models sold in the USA.

Actually, the 92 model year came with the 3rd gen concept design. So if the guy selling it isn't lying, that is very well possible for it to have 250

IT'S NOT AN FD MOTOR. He said 92 S5, if it was an FD he would have said 92 S6. It is impossible to have 250hp stock out of the 92 vert' motor. It was turbocharged and only had 205 ps, about 200 hp. So thats BS number 1. The only way it could have 250 HP is if he modified the engine.

What I would do, is ask him what model car the motor came out of. If he doesnt say convertable, the it's BS. if he does say vert, ask him what color the seats and wheels were. Seats would be Beige leather, and wheels would be gold BBS wheels. If he answers those correctly, ask him how it has 250 hp.

I'm thinking it's a lie or scam.

if you want to learn about the 92 vert' click here http://www.worldlingo.com/wl/transla...ar%2F9208.html

Well Icemark for what I can see half of the people in this forum say incorect things or "i think" or "I thought". (I don't think what I said was wrong. There were FCs in 92 and the FD came out as a 93. Perhaps I was off on the HP) However why don't you tell all of them to quit posting unknow facts? Perhap cause there would be anybody left and no need for a moderator.
"TWEAK" was right on the money

Your missing the point. There were FD's in 91. You don't know your **** enough man. Research before dropping your ***** out of your mouth for everyone to smash. the topic was a "92 s5 250bhp 13bt" engine. The only 92 FC's were Jap special edition Verts that came with beige leather seats, and gold BBS wheels. FD's in japan were released in 91. If its a 92 engine, then it must be JDM. The only rx-7's here that were sold in 92 were left over 91 models. We got none of the 92 Verts.

Icemark also did tell people to stop posting unkown facts.

Don't bitch an hijack this thread, lets solve this guys probelm.

It is BS because the only 92 FC was the JDM vert. It didnt have any FD concept design either. Click the link I posted and youll see. The only 92's were Verts.

You're still wrong. FD's were introduced in 1991 in japan, but the FC had no Fd influence. The engine is from a S5, not an s6. the guy specified s5, so it must be an FC. You're wrong man. That magazine is just an advertisement for the FD.

That was from the UK mag CAR and does not relate to the US models.

But either way, that is a FD, not a FC and the two engines are as far apart as the two engines for the two cars in the ad.
