Question 1991 RX-7 Questions

Hey just started on this site and wanted some input on an RX-7 I was thinking about buying. Its a 1991 with 84k and a new motor, but it has an Auto instead of a stick.....does the performance suffer with an auto? It worth buying? Are the Auto Rx-7s even any good? Please reply with your expert opinions.

autos RX-7s are very slow. Unless you plan to convert it to stick, you won't get any performance out of it.

I have an auto rx and it isn't that bad, though I'm working on getting it to kickdown faster. I would have liked a stick but my car was in extremely nice condition and was a good price. It's a sports car so it still handles well and brakes better. If you are looking for performance then get a stick, but if it's just for a fun daily driver get the auto (if that one is in good condition). An auto is a plus when driving in traffic everyday though. Just my .02.
