1991 n/a front wheel hub

i guess this isnt really a question or anything but i just wanted to let everyone know just how awesome our cars are..

i went to change my rotors and pads last night and the passenger rotor wouldnt come off the hub. i beat the crap out of this thing and nothing.. so took it to the shop today and beat it with an even bigger hammer.. still nothing.. so i got the plasma cutter out and heated the **** out of it and beat it some more.. the area where the bearings go is already beat to crap so its useless but i dont care.. i want this thing out.. so i then start cutting thru it with the plasma cutter and still havnt got this thing out..

so i go to oriellys to get a new one.. it isnt even in the system as a part.. the guy i was having help me ended up calling all the local part stores and no one has this part at all.. not even programed in the sytem of anyone so today i called mazda and asked for a price on one.. 692 dollars!!!!!!!!! wtf???? he said it would take a week to get here and there is only ONE availible in our country ( usa) what kind of crap is that?

so i got a parts car lined up to grab some parts off of it...

You are complaining that a 21 year old car has a low inventory of parts from a dealership? Am I missing something here?

Welcome to working on old cars.
There is a Trick to getting the Bearing out of the Rotor.
Since the Bearing is aluminum and the rotor is cast,it will eventually cause corrosion that pretty well bonds the 2 parts together.
this is what I have done and It WORKS:
Take an angle grinder, grind the Whole rotor off where the rotor meets the outside of the 5 bolt face with the lugs coming out of it.
So,zip all the way around and when you are done you have a Big *** Frisbee Rotor Ring and a Chunk of "inside" rotor stuck to the bearing.
Put some lug nuts on to protect the threads.
take the Bearing/rotor piece and put it sideways like you are gonna roll it.
Smack the side of it with a 2 pound sledge!..It WILL Break..The material that you are hitting is now cast so it will crack.Get enough off so that you can see the Edge of the Aluminum rotor bearing on the inside of the cast piece.
Put the Assembly LUG Nuts down on a piece of wood.(plywood or whatever,2x6).
Now,get a Flat chisel, put it on the broken edge of the Cast rotor piece and work your way around the assembly.
You will notice that it is now coming off.
Hit is some more, and work it off loosen the lug nuts,it falls off.
You are Done!

For that price you can get new, aluminum , stronger, rebuildable hubs from Super Now or someone. Try www.RHDJapan.com for those. There are also some cheaper aftermarket steel hubs, but they are harder to find.

Also, I have removed hubs and bearings several times with no issues, but I'm a big believer in the right tools. Presses, pullers, and the like aren't that expensive. Plus, you can rent them if needed.

My '91 did the same thing, the rotor was a stone bitch to remove.
I wailed on that thing and finally got it off.
Determined to avoid that in the future, I cut a gasket from very thin teflon sheet and put it between the rotor and hub.
Four years later, as I tried to remove the rotor...same thing, frozen solid.

I concluded that the rotor hat must be corroding onto the wheel studs but can't prove it as I couldn't get the damn thing off and the car was sold.
The rotors on my "new" '90 came right off.
Hell, the screw that holds the rotor to the hub only needed a regular screwdriver, spun right out.
Weird.
