1991 GTUs in my Local Junkyard
1991 GTUs in my Local Junkyard
So I went to the junkyard today and I went with a friend of mine. An rx7 owner as well but much more knowledgeable to the history of rotaries then me. He told me- wow I cant believe thats here. Supposedly there were like 400 or so made, does anybody know if thats true? I believe him but just wanted to share that experience with the rest of the world that one of the 400 was in my local junkyard....But I did get the driveshaft
So that part of history will be me in my Rx7 for a LONG TIME!

meh.
You wanna make money??
buy the rear diff, tranny, rims, taillights, wing, interior, 1/4 panels and anything you think you can sell.
The rear pumpkin is at least 300 bux.
the value of my GTUs' jkust went up a tiny bit more.

BTW GTUs was 89 and 90 only.
The 91's are either coupes or turbos, no model designations.

And of course look for the 16 inch wheel designation on the factory decal in the doorjamb.
The rear pumpkin is a different ratio, so that's why, to some, its worth more.
Car was probably flooded and they thought it was broken. Turbo seats might be worth something to someone as well as the non-turbo aluminum hood.
