1990 Fc Convertible but TURBO and European - Viscous LSD?

I read that only 1989-1991 Turbo FCs are equipped with Viscous LSD.

But what about a 1990 FC Convertible Turbo and EUROPEAN version? Does mine is equipped with Viscous Lsd? Thank you.

European spec is a bit different. The customer would be able to choose which options would be equipped on the car.
for instance, EU turbo II don’t allways have an LSD.

to check, jack up the car and spin the wheel. If the other wheel spins the same direction, you have LSD.

another way to notice is on the drain plug, it will have a tag to use LSD fluid.

VLSD does not require any special oil or friction modifier additives due to the VLSD being a sealed unit. Therefore, the fill plug won't have a tag specifying using LSD additives like the '86-'88's did.

Viscous has a 4.3:1 ratio.
LSD has 4.1:1.

You could mark your hub at 12 o'clock.
Mark your driveshaft at 12 also.
Turn the driveshaft a full revolution.
If your hub is now sitting at 1 o'clock you have a 4.1:1 ratio.
If your hub is at the 4 o'clock position you have a 4.3:1 ratio.
