1990 convertible wheels size??

i am looking to get the size of wheel i can fit on my 1990 convertible,i want to put 19 inch rims /or 18s depending on whats best,...the problem is i dont know what size to get,can any one tell me whats the max size and with/dish and how many inches can i drop my conv...to make it look sweet

18s is about as far as I'd go for normal driving, 19's could present significant weight/suspension/rubbing issues, even if not lowered. I run 18x7.5s on mine with no issues, plenty of room (need bigger tires). You could go as much as 18x8 up front and 18.9 or 9.5 out back, anywhere from about a 32 to a 37 offset.
