1989 Rx-7 VS Mid 90's Jetta?

Ok Guys,

I am having a hard time deciding if I should sell my car or not. I am looking for a reliable car that will drive me from my house in Maine to NC. So what I am looking at is the reliability factors with both of the cars. I am just trying to see what car I need the most when it comes to traveling these next couple of years. I love my rx....but it has 144k on it and I am wondering about reliability issues in the future. I take damn good care of it and run premix through it with the existing MOP. I have an open exaust so the back pressure isn't bad and I never really rev it all that high...just to remove the carbon. So what do you guys think?

i love my rx-7 too, but when it comes down to driving long distances, something with better gas milage would have to prevail because i already pay $30 a week to fill her up and my daily commute is pretty short.

Me being a 7 freak, if the car is in good shape and is in good mecahnical order then I would keep the 7.

i have driven an integra for the last few years, and i would take the 7 over the jetta. the thing is super comfrotable, well as long as you have something soft on the enbrake to rest your leg on, with the cruise i found myself leaning my leg on it.
