1989 FC3S GT-X Information

I was looking at the spec sheets on this site and was wondering what the GT-X RX-7's Turbos are? It has GTU, GXL, Turbo.

I'm pretty sure it'll be the turbo one, it's just that I'm looking at importing one from Japan and I need to know how many kilowatts and how much the car weighs. (Stupid power to weight restrictions)

The traffic authority here have the Australian released Rx-7 Turbo putting out 176kw, but i calculated 200hp (or 205ps as i have fonud elsewhere) as only being 150kw (approx) based off the spec sheets listed on this site for the turbo engine. I dont think Mazda would have changed the power of the car for different countrys???

Any help in this delema is greatly appreciated!

I believe they may be talking about series 6 & 7. The stupid thing doesn't state a year of car so it's really hard to know which model they're talking about

I'm going to assume they're talking series 6 & 7 so if a mod could lock and/or delete this thread. Just ignore my idiocy, i work night shifts and get home late & real tired

GT-X refers to the series 5. Series 4 = GT-R

GT-R and GT-X and GT FC Turbo models were not available in North America, and were simply different option/standard features packages.

Talking

GT-X and GT-R models were available in both S4 and S5 in Japan. The GT-X is the pick of the two.

Savanna isn't limited production, that's what ALL RX7s were called in Japan. In regard to the GT-X, I'm pretty sure that was just a trim level, but a search or Icemark could probably answer that better then myself.
