1989 FC NA Turn signal repaired

Hi Everyone,

Turn signal on the left side of the car wasn't working. 4 way flashers did not work on the left side either. There was only a quick clicking noise when the turn signal lever was activated.
Did a search and found the problem most likely to be the CPU. Read the posts and thanks to some great advice from Icemark and others, I was able to swap the circuit board with another in the CPU.
The signal lights and 4 ways all work both sides

The new search feature is much improved.
Thanks to all the posts for the great advice. Saved me a lot of time and money fixing it myself.

Icemark are you still selling new circuit boards for the turn signals ? I didn't see it on your website.

Thanks Paul

That's exactly what I've been needing to do. I didn't know that I could just buy a new CPU. I was going to resolder everything. I haven't even looked at the CPU yet. It's good to know that the answer can be found by Searching.

Let this be a lesson to all newbs!!!!
