1988 Turbo no power

I'm new to the forum and I've got a big problem with my 1988 Turbo.

The whole story:

Developed oil leak. Car was running fine when I parked it. Started engine the next day to find leak and shut it off immediately when I saw that it was the oil cooler line (first mistake).

Replaced oil cooler lines with some nice ones from MazdaTrix.

Tried to start car. Flooded. Finally got it started.

Now, it starts fine and idles fine but has no power when you open the throttle just a little bit.

- compression is OK
- fuel pressure is OK
- both cats are OK - problem is still there with exhaust system clear off.

Any ideas what to look for? I've searched and found throttle position sensor and secondary injectors, but how would these go haywire overnight?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, BlkTurbo

What exactly do you mean by "no power"? Will it not rev up and seem as though it hit a flat spot? If so, it is more than likely your tps. Yes they can go out over night. It could just need to be adjusted. www.fc3spro.com has a great write up on how to do so.

Yes, that's exactly it - will not rev up and seems as though it hit a flat spot. Thanks for the help - I'll take a look at it tonight.

Actually, boost was OK before the problem. tps is being checked out and will do the ignition tuneup. Didn't know the oil lines could be rebuilt but wanted to get stuff fast anyway (and I hadn't found rx7club.com then).

Thanks again for the help.
