so ive been reading the haynes manual and on pg 161 theres a vacuum diagram of the engine, but it says nothing about the charcoal canister... Ive been looking around the nest of tubing under the intake manifold as well and there doesn't seem to be any open tubes to put the hose up to.

On both the 88 turbo and the 89n/a the line runs to what looks like both the oil filler neck and also to the intake on a one-way check valve... so im not even sure if the 88n/a is supposed to have a charcoal canister or not...

Also i have noticed that the top hose on the pressure regulator control solenoid valve (the orange plug) has snapped off, i was wondering if this is serious or just minor?

any help would be much appreciated!
