1988 interior (something from nothing)

Might be getting my hands on a 1988 race ready rx-7. Would have very little or no interior. I would be adding a dash, carpet, and trim, anybody here ever done this. Ideas on cost? Any places to get interior parts new or is it hope and pray while hunting the junk yards?

just out of curiosity, why are you adding an enterior

as for cost, should be very much, even up here in NH i can get a dash out of a trashed car for about 100, and most enterior parts are cheap and plentyfull

as for carpet i have no idea, i think victoria british has reapostry kits available, but i could be wrong

If I had it my way the car would become my auto-x car. But the car will be for the GF and she doesn't understand the appeal of exposed sheet metal and roll cage parts. If I had the money I would buy the car for myself but I don't have the money and she wants it so I get to do the wrenching time, bonus is that I get that non-cash payment for doing it.
