i'll add you to the list. the tint is not applied to the glass but made tinted. post a want to buy ad in the 2nd gen parts for sale/wanted section. this is not going to be a cheap part.

You got that right.. You may end up going to the dealer for this one unfortunately. They wanted over $600 for a windshied so good luck with that one. While I love the bronze glass.. Unfortunately it's sooo rare that its uber expensie to get.

Thanks for the tip guys. I checked with the dealer - the driver's side window is NLA anywhere. (Even if they could get it, the list price was $300). I'll post in the classifieds and see what I can find! Any help is appreciated, it would be a bummer to get the car painted and have a mis-matched window...

I'm the proud new owner of a 10th A/E; Vin #0623621. 121K miles; Stock, with the exception of a Racing Beat SS exhaust and Mazdatrix short shifter. Body is pretty straight and paint is peeling.
I did an 11 hour round trip yesterday to the Baltimore area to tow her home. The gentleman I bought her from (2nd owner) had purchased her 5 years ago with 76K on the clock. Fortunatly, he and the original owner were sticklers for preservation. I was surprised the amount of goodies he had saved to go along with her. 10th A/E key, barely used original floor mats in a bag, window sticker, manuals, package shelf, car cover, NIB window switches and driver door handle (even though the car doesn't need 'em), original DP and cats (for emissions inspections), etc.... I'm still finding goodies.......

I gave her a quick wash this afternoon and the paint was flaking off from the hose pressure. lol
However, I also discovered the car was originally from AZ and moved east in early 2004. It would explain the complete absence of rust, and [in part] the condition of the paint.


Also, while reading the window sticker I noticed it has a glass breakage sensor system as an option. Did all 10th A/E's have this?

just got #0622563 in poor to less than poor shape in mobile, al gona need a full on restoration. lucky i got lots of parts layin around oh yaa and i got it for 50 bucks in mississippi barn find well it was near the barn. it was in the woods sitting up for 10 or so years outside with out a hood, intercooler, air box cover, pass window or wheels at least it was up off the ground sitting on some tractor cylinder's i got a lot of work to do dash is mint though yaa for small wins lol
