1987 turbo q...
im about to buy an 1987 T-II and i was wondering how different the 87 is from like the 89? would just getting a spearco core and custom pipes be the best way to go with a FMIC? is there any other differences? also, how much work would it be to either A) fit a gp sports kit to an 87 or B) convert it to an 89 on the outside and then go for the gp kit later down the road???

-Getting a spearco core and custom fabbing your IC piping is definitely cheaper than getting a FMIC kit (ie VSPL etc).
-S5 body parts are hard to find, because S5's are hard to find. So if you're planning on getting the GP sports kit, don't bother with the S5 conversion first.
