MA 1987 Rx7 non-turbo Fc3s turns on but won't stay in idle

My problem is that the car won't stay in idle at all(needs to be holding the gas pedal even when pressing the clutch). i been reading a couple of manuals and its not the tps as i try that already.

if it sounds like the engine is healthy when the gas pedal is depressed to keep it running, I'd check the BAC valve since you have already checked the TPS.

ill check this out as soon as the car is back and i forgot to mention that it sometimes miss fire and it backfires not with actual flames and the rx7 from the main catalyst converter and down pipe was removed by previous owner for having too much rust so they welded some new one without main catalyst converter about 2-4 years ago.

It's not misfiring as it would seem, that is residual fuel lighting off in the exhaust manifold. This condition occurs when you do anything to the factory exhaust, so it's normal.
