1987 RX7...Location of Starter....

i was wandering if anyone knew a website where i could find a picture showing exactly where the starter is located on a 1987 Mazda RX7.....i have a feeling i have a bad starter and would like to have someone try cranking my car while i tap it to see for sure...tks...

its on your transmission. bottom left. pretty big. has wires going to it..

To be more specific, its on the lower drivers side section of the tranny. Just follow the wires to it.

Update on Starter issue

Tks for the help..i think i found my starter and no longer believe i have a bad starter....now believe i have a bad ignition switch or maybe the thing with the clutch (but i also read my model 87 does not have the clutch thing but i dont know if that is true) is there an easy way to hot wire my car to determine if it is the ignition switch...also my starter does not click when i turn the key..that is another reason i'm suspecting ignition switch

starter seem to be ok

does anyone know a way to bypass the ignition switch to start my 87 rx7...
