1987 GXL TPS adjustment

Now, I know someone is going to come at my neck and tell me that my issue has already been solved but I can't seem to find someone with an issue similar to mine.
I've read a ton of threads about adjusting the TPS with a multi meter and the idle screw at operating temp, which I've done! I've been going mainly off of the write up from 13B ETC, it says between pins A and B that I should have 1k ohms at idle which I do, but between pins A and C at idle and WOT that I should have 5K ohms (+/- 1K) and at WOT on my car, the ohms drop below 1K.

Is this just a symptom of a bad TPS? Its about a year old. The car's idle will bounce around between 1500 - 2000 RPM when cold but lately it wont stop idling like that even after its warmed up.

Example from 13BETC
