1986 mazda rx7

iam thinking of purchacing a 1986 mazda rx7,but iam not very familiar with rotary engines.I have a few questions and i hope u guys or girls can help me .Its a 1986 rx7 with 190000 on it.the body has some rust and might need a clear coat.he is asking 1800 or bo.do rotary engines last like they say they do?how much do u guys think i should pay for this car.your help will be appreciated.thank you.

Well, before you buy ANY rotary car, especially one with that many miles always do a compression check. Low ball him to 1500 at least on that car.

how do u do a compression test?

how do u do a compression test and do u need any special tools?
