19's? Why not just go all out and stick some 36's on it and be done with it.

Jeez, dude- 19's--
Are you going for looks only? because 19' wheels will seriously detract from your performance by adding buttloads of rotational weight. And that's IF you can get them not to rub in the wells.

Ive seen a FC on ebay with 20" wheels on it.... God it was hideous..

But to answer your question, no, I dont know of anyone on this forum that has 19" wheels, 17"s on the other hand, many people have. Im not sure what you mean by wheel adapters.

I hear if you wrap enough duct tape around your 17's you can adapt them to 19's

I was going to ask what he meant by 17" - 19" wheel adapters... ???

I have seen 18" 1-pce and 18" 3-pce and even they don't seem to fit properly on the FC. I think 17" is the way to go.

Peace...

Put em on a biger car or truck. 19 is a hella lot of wheel for an FC. I run what I consider the largest feasable rim for an FC and that's a 17". Alot of FD guys run 18's but it's got more room for em. You'd nearly have to jack it up to fit 19's sorry to say. 19's are trick but just not meant for an FC.

MR.Fuzzy, i have 18's on my 86, i dont know if you would be able to fit the 19's because of rubbing on the fenderwell. dont listen to any of these stupid *** holes who cant afford anything for the rx7s, they are just jealous and only wish they could have anything other than the shitty stock wheels they have right now. if you want 19's buy them **** every one else.

What are you talking about? Wheels don't need adaptors.

While it's true most here would be jealous of anyone who can afford to blow a huge wad of money of 19" wheels and tyres, you are completely out of line calling them stupid ********. Most people here put more emphesis on performance than looks, which doesn't mean we all drive really fast cars that look like crap, it just means that cosmetic mods that are detrimental to performance are usually considered a waste of time and money. 19" wheels are purely for looks and are going to have a huge negative impact on performance. If you like big wheels that's fine. Just keep your insults to yourself in case you need one of these stupid ******** to help you out one day...

lol i guess that came accross the wrong way. to me 19 inch rims are stupid (no car deserves them...maybe a honda or something with red and yellow 19s to add a total of 70 hp) unless you're running them on a small private jet of some kind. why someone would put 4x 30lb+ wheels on a performance auto is beyond me....maybe as an anchor incase he ever drove into a lake.

uh...where do you find wheels that are made with half inch diameter increments? by that do you mean someone gave you 15 1/2 inch rims?

Yes, as said above, its not that I can't afford 18s or 19's, but I personally dont want them. I spent over $350 for my stock convertable 15" wheels. Why? Because they are 11lbs/piece, and will only serve to make my car faster and more stable, and they look good also. So please be informed about the reasons some of us do things before you go around insulting everyone... Yes if he wants 19's , thats his business. But we are just trying to inform him of the multitude of negative effects it will have on the car.
