well the link you posted that site is not working.
I have a few pis of fc with 18's and it helps fill in the wheel wells. I thought it looked good, but might have to stay with a 17".

Used it up in person after I passed a monkey I know on the side of the raod the other day with a flat on his 18's on his FC... Wheel was ruined, tire was ruined, found out later he hit a pot-hole and blew his rubber-band 215/35/18 out and that was about all of that. And i TOLD him before he bought those damn wheels........ .........

Well here is why I want 18's
All of these fc's have 18's. Notice the fender well gap?
Still no one will say what size there 18's are? What's the deal with that?

I have no real problem with 18's..
I wanted staggared fitment and as wide a wheel as possible .... under the stock fenders, that is.
I see no sense in spending money on wheels if I can put some fattys on the *** end!!!
thats the problem you can find 18 inch wheels that you can run a decent sidewall tire on (if you haven't read the second gen fitment thread.. .......) its ALL in the TIRES.. but usually you are limited to 7" or less in width to get the right offset, and all four wheels the SAME size.
Also.. I tried to keep the tire diameters as close to stock as possible 1) for Speedo and Gear ratio reasons and 2) there isn't much room for suspension travel in the front, especially after Lowering Springs!!!
Yes.. Running 18's with a larger diameter tire will close the fender gap, even eliminate it, But, your speedo will be WAY slow and the front end may "bottom out" (the tire rub the top of the fenderwell) on heavy bumps..
Check to see if those cars have coilovers on them as well!!!
But, you car looks good right now.. the only thing i see that bugs me is the depth that the rear wheels sit IN from the fender (another reason i went with staggered wheels!)
Actaully... that PIC of the BLACK TII on the left with what almost loosk like an RPM2 wheel is FRIGGIN SWEET.. Find out what THAT guy is running for sizes and offsets!!!

YearsOfDecay, I have to agree, I would love to have the same setup as him. I will try to find him and his info. Wish I could just buy his.
I am also trying to go somewhat cheap and not toss alot of money into wheels as
the suspension / TO4 / and other odds and ends have took the cash and I still need a FMIC.
The 18's I was looking at I can get for about 450 for the set.
I also have found a set of 17x7's with a 38 off set that I can pick up for $250. One has some curbing.

The nasty *** 18"s that are on my FC. Now if i can just find somebody to trade their 15s or 16s for them I gladly would.
Before anyone flames me for having those, blame the big-rim lov'n previous owner.
