rim info

Ok help needed buy this weekend. I have done a search but the info i find is mainly for 17" rims.

I am going to look at a set of 18" rims for the 91FC.
I need to know if the 18x7.5's with a 40 off set will fit.

Anyone running 18's on there FC? What size tire are you running?
I might be able to pick these rims up for 300-400 and they look new.

Thanks

A friend of mine just threw two 18x7.5's on the back of his 86 base. They are a discontinued 5zigen design. We're still trying to get some spacers to fit the front ones, but the rears went on without a problem. I'm not sure what size tires he's running, but they're some pretty low profile Kumho Supras.

I was thinking a 215/40 would work.

What is wrong with the front rims? Do they rub?
With the spacers in the rear are ya'll trying to make the rim flush?
Thanks

7.5" +40 in the rears are no problem.

I think that spec would hit stuff up front.
There are guys who are running 8" +40 (or more) up front that claim it'll fit no problem.

For a 7.5" wide rim up front, I'd like to have at least a +35 if not more toward +30 as an offset.

He told me the fronts rubbed the shocks. He's not running spacers in the rear, either. I dunno if he's planning on it or not.
