me tooo......

I have been looking in disapointment at all the
23" ghetto rims on the net.

I want 17's that are wide, crome, but sporty looking.

Chrome?????? man an RX-7 isnt a baller car
Those two sites are great sites but they try to keep the sizes limited to the stock sizes of the car....you either have to call them or check out some import car sites where they sell wheels and tires...more of a variety -Gabe

NO NO NO, you got me all wrong, I am NOT a ricer! I just want some nice wheels that are low maintenance and look good. Kind of likt the new Vette wheels, a sporty crome 5 spoke or one like this pic, except not in black crome.

All your wheel choices can be found on the internet....

Chrome is not bad....as long it as the wheels are right (JDM).

Depending on the backspacing, your offset should be as follows for 8's:
F: +30-+35
R: +40-+45

Te +44, +45 gets it to the fender...looks TIGHT!!!! Oh, go 9's in the rear.

good luck!

BMW Z3`s happen to have wider wheels in the rear than the front, as do many other foreign exotic sporty cars. Some you may have heard of are Porsche, Ferarri, and other cars not often mistaken for the inbred american`s favorite .......The Camaro, not to be downplay the always original....... Mustang with a big horse sticker on the back window and a cartoon pissing on a bowtie........... YEEHAA!!!

John

...........sorry to rant, but I despise those cars and any connection to them. Have to admit good bang for the buck though.

Talking Also............

...I am ordering a Corksport kit and thinking of adding some wheel flares and hood scoop myself, which means I will be able to run wider tires.........I say SCREW Mariah, with the sky high price for a wide body kit. I bet they sell a whole 1-2 a year......for big profits.

17x8 up front and 17x9 in the rear is nice. one of my friends did that to his car. looks mean with the wide tires in the rear. but when you go to those sites, instead of saying what car you have, just search for a certain size. its possible

I checked Tire Rack-They carry 17 x 8's in BBS RC & RK, also Oz. I knew they had them 'cause I was going to buy them for my TII.

its just rather difficult to have balanced handling with different wheel sizes.
You'll have neutralish handling on throttle and horrible understeer off throttle, or something similar.

I prefer a touch of oversteer on throttle, with the same off throttle....

I have 9.5's in the rear. I don't see anything wrong with it.

What offsets do you have to have to run 8's in the front and 9's in the rear??
