so rrtec, do you know exactly how much the 15" wheels you are looking at weigh? and how wide they are? im guessing 6-7" bc of the 195 falkens
i checked out the site, and it doesnt have much info....do you know if it will fit your 4 lug? or if they have a 5 lug version? whats the offset?

haha sorry about the 100 questions, just kinda curious....

Remember every 5 lbs you can save per wheel (using 12 lbs wheels instead of 17 lbs wheels) translates to 5 HP.

So 22 lb wheels would be like driving with 10 less HP than using the 11lb BBS 15 inch wheels.

So do you want to look cool, or have more RWHP?
does the math really work out that way? =P 1 lb rotational mass = 1 hp?

i dont have a large physics background, but that didnt sit well with me when i read it =\

the benefits are large though dunno if they are exactly like that tho

I figure if I can make a single that you can live with in a 'vert, it will work in all FCs.

I was talking about it with another member earlier today and said:

Might be able to drop the price further, if I can get enough orders when they go on pre-sale.

Well it's been a long time since someone called me a young man, but that is the way I do it.

Yeah, that is the numbers Honda has reported and published in their SAE wheel weight testing reports and car ads.

And that number is again based on 4 wheels. So 1 lb extra per wheel (or 4 lbs total addition to the rotating mass), is loosing 1 HP in overall driveline loss.

For 5 lbs extra [per] wheel... it hardly seems worth worrying about... but as soon as you get to 20 or 25 lbs wheels, that loss of 10 or 15 HP adds up.
