14" stock rims - tires?

unfortunately, i own an rx-7 luxury trim and it comes with 14 inchers. what's the best tire size for this car? is 185/70/14 the only size that's available for this car?

buy a tire/wheel combo. or get some used rims for cheap. im sure cheap used ones would be better than stock lol

I'd go for these, they sound like the convertible wheels which look great and only weigh 11 pounds a piece.

I'm just curious, are you talking about the BBS RX-7 vert rims? If so, those are 5-lug and the thread starter has a 4-lug S4. Or are you talking about the rare 15" rims made for the GSL-SE?

5 lugs....yeah...mine are 4. a 5 lug conversion is not in my price range right now.

where can i get a good range of 14 inch tires? i've tried tirerack but they only have 4 tires!

I just did my 5 lug conversion a couple of weeks ago.

I have my old steelies that I bought with the car... as well as my brakes/hubs/etc... if you're needing anything else when you get new tires.
