@130mph, is it just me or does that seem super fast for a stock turbo? With good traction what would 130mph yeald you high 12's, low 13's hell I am not good at judging 1/4 mile time but seems super fast for a stock tubo.

 

130 will get you near an 11!!!

 

umm yea.. 130 is really fast for a 14.5 pass. his 60 foot time must be like 5 seconds.

I agree, 130 would be breaking 14's for sure. Maybe he just sucks, or it's a typo, or something's wrong with it and he knows nothing... This post is useless, I'm going to work.

 

Its probably 103 or he is lieing his *** off. 103 does sound about right for a 14.5 pass, maybe alittle better launching would help though.

I would hope that even at 103 you were bettering mid 14 second passes.

 

Running 14.5 on the 1/4 mile is believable because my friend did better than that with his TII. I think his time was around 14.1 with the stock turbo. Don't remember what the mph was though. But 130...come on this guy must have been smoking something...LOL

Oh, I know the stocker will see 13's...and that 14.5 is slow for a modded car, im just saying that at 103 he should be faster than 14.5....

 

just to confirm... when you blokes are saying 'stock turbo' you just mean with the original turbo in the car right? not totally stock, 6lbs boost...

1fastT2 is right. 130mph is well into the 10's. 11's around 120 and 12's around 105-110

 

i have a upgraded turbo in my TII and im running ruffly 120mph in the 1/4 mile in mid 11's. this guys deffinetly speakin a bunch of bull ****. im tiered of dumb *** people.

 

a little more info. Dave Lemon at Mazda Trix is running a 9.83 at 135.29mph, Atkin's Rotary is running a 9.918 at 137.51, Andy Mages of Rx-7.com is running a 10.642 at 130.18mph all in the 1/4 mile. Some one needs to tell lieing turbo boy to bob on my ****.

 

i think what happened is he was draggin his car, and racin a mad tyte civic LX with NAWZ, and it was like super pimpin, and then halfway down the track at around the 13 second mark the civic started using his NAAAWWZZZZZZZZ, and then he was like "too soon junior" and hit his 500 shot of nawz and bam crossed the line at 130, and thats how he ran 14.5 at 130mph.
and then he realized all his apex seals were toasted, so now he's parting out the car. and thats why the turbo is on ebay.
